Ron Subotic - Principal Structural and Civil Engineer

B.E (Civil & Struct.); MIE Aust; CP Eng, NPER-3, RPEQ

Ron has over twenty five years of engineering experience in structural design, research and development, site supervision and preparation of tender documents for various residential, commercial, industrial and heavy industrial projects.

Since 1992 he has consulted to BHP, in the role of senior design engineer, on research and development matters associated with the development of new light gauge steel house framing systems. He is also recognized as one of the world's leading experts in the design of cold formed steel sections.

Ron specialises in steel and concrete structures. He is renowned for using 3D finite element analysis in computer modeling, unusual and special purpose structures.

Ron is a technical expert for special remedial building works such as earthquake damages, corrosion control and site settlement.
